We want everyone to be able to learn how to use power tools, explore their creativity, overcome their fear and discover a world of opportunities. We explore through wood and tools a number of benefits such as the development of creativity, teamwork, thinking and soft skills.
Did you know that 91% of Housing Vouchers in Costa Rica are for women, heads of household and that most of them do not know how to carry out interventions in their homes: For this reason, we want to take each workshop to more people, generate social impact in at-risk communities, for this reason we want to achieve the goal of having our own diseñistico's mobile so that the workshops can reach more places. This workshop is designed so that people can learn to explore and enhance their creativity. People learn to use tools such as a hammer, different types of drill, jigsaw, hand saw, and others. A type of project is chosen, either made of wood or of a constructive nature and to carry out certain common repairs in the home. In this workshop, people explore their creativity, make mistakes, learn about tools, add courage and even overcome fears. Enrol in the project you want to carry out here.
This workshop is designed so that organized groups/communities can learn about basic carpentry and construction techniques for the development of projects within their homes in a self-sufficient way. People learn to use tools such as a hammer, different types of drill, jigsaw, hand saw, and others. This workshop is designed for companies that wish to strengthen the values of the organization through teamwork, explore manual work to get out of comfort zones, strengthen a culture of empowerment to face challenges in a creative way. As well as empower themselves to carry out DIY projects in their homes. We set up a mobile workshop where collaborators can choose a project and carry it out within the workshop period through manuals, a person who leads the workshop and the development of imagination. From painting ornaments, creating houses, spheres and snowflakes. People learn to design their own wooden ornaments from scratch.
We have designed a design mobile that allows us to move design workshops in a more agile and efficient way to reach more distant communities and continue generating social impact. This is a challenging project, but at Diseñístico we dream big as well as working hard. At this stage of the project, we are in the process of collecting donations and funds for the acquisition of it.
